The Lions of District 4-C6 are once again supporting and participating in an ADA-compliant Habitat for Humanity build, this time in Santa Clara. Lions’ Work Days will occur the third Thursday of each month throughout the build.

Sunnyvale Host is participating in opening day by sending a work party consisting of our club president, Lion Jennifer, first vice president, Lion Hugh and one of our newest members, Lion (Cub) Brian.

This year’s project, once again partially supported by a challenge grant from LCIF, will see us completing a duplex home in Santa Clara. One side will be occupied by a visually impaired woman living independently, the other will be occupied by a family with a physically challenged child. Both homes will be appropriately equipped for the residents’ needs, including larger bathrooms and hallways where needed.
