Those who planned to work at the Opening Lions’ Work Day for this year’s Habitat build were disappointed to learn the day before the planned work party that ground conditions were too wet and soft to allow work to proceed as planned on October 18th. That days’ Work Party was cancelled. The next Lions’ Work Day is scheduled for November 15, just a week before Thanksgiving. Here’s hoping Mother Nature cooperates and gives us all yet another reason to be thankful at our holiday tables the following week.
